Francesca Pievani and Alice Zantedeschi are the Duo of Founders of the Italian Start up FILI PARI

Who are the Co-Founders of FILI PARI?

Francesca Pievani and Alice Zantedeschi are the Duo of Founders of the Italian Start up FILI PARI, working on the research and development of innovative materials for the textiles sector.

NOW MARBLE IS WEARABLE THANKS TO MARM MORE.

FILI PARI

FILI PARI : Textile innovation and sustainability

Giving lightness and dynamism to marble is the mission of FILI PARI. An apparently rigid material, not very ductile and austere material is interpreted through a new usage. The company has specialized in cutting-edge technologies for the enhancement of marble powders, with the aim of designing new materials capable of combining style, innovation and technical performance.

An innovative sustainable material

MARM MORE is the innovative material patented by FILI PARI made with marble powder, which combines technical performance and aesthetic characteristics. An innovation for the Textile Industry through the upcycling of marble powders.

Technical performance

MARM MORE is a coating on fabric that uses the stone features to give natural colors, high abrasion resistance and a soft touch feeling.

This innovative textile is waterproof, and soft to touch. It has nothing that would suggest a relationship with marble.

But this dust can become a raw material with a wealth of natural properties. A waterproof, breathable, wind-proof microfilm, to which marble gives the basic colour, and a soft tactile effect created by the presence of calcium carbonate, a compound of this stone material.

Innovation through colours

Therefore, turning to nature makes it possible to obtain textiles with very special colours: this is the real innovation. The colours attainable include the anthracite grey of Black Ebony marble, the salmon pink of Red Verona marble, the natural beige of Yellow Mori marble, the pastel green of Green Alps marble, and the milk-colour of White marble.

The original MARM MORE products use fluorine-free materials. Although all humans and animals are exposed to and need minute amounts of fluorine, the element in any large enough dose is extremely toxic and dangerous.

An open innovation project with LIMONTA |1893 for the Textile Industry

By means of this Open Innovation project, Limonta |1893, the Italian Production Textile company, with Fili Pari, transform an industrial waste product into a new range of textiles, in compliance with a sustainable approach.

Poli Hub the Business accelerator

FILIPARI has joined the famous business accelerator of Politecnico di Milano, Poli Hub.

Circular Economy through upcycling of marble dust

The enormous quantities of excess marble create huge costs for their disposal.

Create Extra value

The philosophy of Fili Pari embraces the values of a circular economy, combining research and innovation to improve the well-being of the earth and its people throughout the entire life cycle of the product. The love for the territory translates into the desire to enhance raw materials, using the products and by-products of the Italian stone industries, transforming waste into opportunities in full compliance with the circular economy.

Eco Green Made in Italy

The innovative sustainable material is entirely made in Italy, from the selection of marbles to the production.
